Art in the Park Spring 2021 – Call for Artists

Calling all artists! After the success of our first Art in the Park event last year, “Bass in the Grass,” Beverly Main Streets has announced their 2021 event, “Hyper Stripers.“ Local artists and makers will paint or decorate large fish-shaped profiles that will be displayed outside at our outdoor event at Hale Farm in May and auctioned online.

To be considered, you must complete the online form by March 16 and upload 3 photos of your prior work:

• Artists do not have to submit what they plan to paint on their Striper
• Artists must be age 16 or older (we will have a fun and fast project for children up to age 15 that will not be juried or auctioned – we will be announcing this at a later date)
• Artists can live/work in any location, but will need to be responsible for picking up/dropping off artwork in Beverly
• The Stripers will be auctioned online with winning bid split evenly between the artists and Beverly Main Streets (we guarantee artists will be paid at least $100)
• We have a limited number of Stripers – new this year, all artists will be juried by a committee
