Community Preservation Act Annual Public Hearing

The Community Preservation Committee (CPC) will hold a Public Informational Hearing to solicit input from citizens regarding the development of the FY20 Community Preservation Plan, which will be used to guide the CPC’s decision-making on Community Preservation Act (CPA) project proposals. The CPA-established local dedicated fund is used to undertake open space, historic preservation, outdoor recreation and community housing projects.
The Public Hearing will be held on Tuesday, October 8, 2019 in the first floor conference room at 98 Washington Street at 6:00 p.m. The public will have an opportunity to comment on Salem’s needs, possibilities and resources with regard to community preservation. Written comments may also be sent to the Department of Planning and Community Development, 98 Washington St., Salem, MA 01970 by October 25, 2019.
