A Live Virtual Public Information Hearing will be hosted on the MassDOT website below to present the design for the Boston Street Improvements in Salem and Peabody, MA. How will this affect you? The proposed project consists of improvements to pedestrian, bicycle, traffic signal, transit accommodations, and roadway accommodations on Boston Street from the Peabody City line to Essex Street, and Main Street, Peabody from the Salem City line to Howley Street. Improvements will include full depth roadway and sidewalk reconstruction, off-road bike lanes and shared use paths, upgrades to all traffic signals along the corridor, landscaping, stormwater improvements and utility relocations.
