 MAPC will be co-sponsoring a workshop on historic preservation planning in Framingham on Tuesday, March 19, 2019 from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM at the Edgell Memorial Library/Framingham History Center located at 3 Oak Street, Framingham, MA 01703. This workshop provides an overview of what to include in a municipal preservation plan. Co-sponsored by the Framingham Historical Commission, Massachusetts Historical Commission, Preservation Massachusetts and Metropolitan Area Planning Council. Participants will learn the why and how of completing municipal preservation plans from the Massachusetts Historical Commission, hear about the local experience with preservation planning from the Framingham Historical Commission, and learn how to comprehensive plans to initiate and extend preservation planning work from the Metropolitan Area Planning Council.
