Lynn will get subway fares to Boston!

Extended until Dec 31st

Fares from Lynn to Boston will now be $2.40 each way, down from the $7 one-way commuter rail fare. The fare reduction is meant to help ease crowding from nearby buses and the Blue line. This change should entice more Lynn residents to take the commuter rail. Read more.

Salem Ferry to end service early

Due to low ridership, the Salem ferry is expected to end the season early on September 8th. This does not impact the City’s plan to purchase a second ferry and service will resume again next summer. Read more.

MBTA Announces Ride Safer Protocols

The MBTA has instituted rigorous cleaning protocols as well as steps to reducing crowding on buses. See more info here.
