Incorporated in 1650, Topsfield, MA, is a well-known town in Essex County. Originally home to Indigenous peoples and later a farming and shoe manufacturing community, today, Topsfield has evolved into a residential town with preserved rural New England character.

Despite its predominantly residential zoning, Topsfield is a popular tourist destination. Each October, the town welcomes thousands of visitors across the New England region to the iconic Topsfield Fair. This tradition dates back to the 1800s and has become a prominent part of Topsfield’s identity.

Located about 25 miles North of Boston, this 13-square-mile town sits along Route 1. Topsfield’s convenient location and proximity to the highway give the town access to prime commercial spaces while also offering easy access to Southern New Hampshire and the North Shore as a whole.
