Economic Priority Development Sites Part VIII
June 22, 2022 12:21 pmOne of the North Shore Alliance’s roles is to support economic development initiatives across 30 towns along the northeast region of Massachusetts. We encourage and support growing companies and their leaders, but we also bolster new businesses by providing information about commercial development opportunities for entrepreneurs to start a new business or current business owners to expand their footprint.
To do this, we highlight commercial priority development sites with the help of the region’s Economic Development Directors, City and Town Planners, and Community Directors.
In staying with this month’s town spotlight featuring Ipswich, Massachusetts, we will be looking at three potential economic development sites that could help your business take flight or expand. Please visit our North Shore Alliance site to check on availability as availability status may change.
According to the Ipswich, Massachusetts Economic Development site, Ipswich’s economic development goals, as described in the 2003 Ipswich Community Development Plan, the Downtown Retail Assessment (2014), and the Ipswich Economic Development Strategy, Phase I (2015) and Ipswich Economic Development Strategy, Phase II (2017) (Timetable for Phase II Action Items), favor continued job growth as well as the expansion of the business tax base, but not at the expense of our natural resources and community character.
