Santander Bank’s Cultivate Small Business is designed to help early-stage entrepreneurs in low-income neighborhoods build and sustain their businesses, with a focus on women-, minority- and immigrant-owned businesses in food-related industries. The program provides industry specific education, networks and mentoring as well as small capital grants for business owners.

When is the program?
The 16-week program runs from early April– the end of June, 2022.
What do I get?
The program provides:
○ custom business classes focused specifically on food businesses, taught by Babson College business professors
○ individualized connections to mentors in the food industry
○ support from a network of entrepreneurs, and
○ the chance to apply for grants to support your business

Who runs this program?
It’s a collaboration between Santander Bank, Babson College, ICIC, CommonWealth Kitchen, Laeda, and Columbia University – Harlem Small Business Development Center (SBDC).
How can I get more information?
Applications are due January 28, 2022.
The team will review applications and begin scheduling interviews on a rolling basis. We strongly encourage you to apply early to allow sufficient time for gathering necessary documentation.
