COVID-19 Small Business Assistance Program (SBAP)

Small businesses located in Beverly that have been financially impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic are invited to apply for grants ranging from $5,000 to $50,000. To be eligible, businesses must meet the following criteria:

  • Be in the hospitality, tourism, arts, recreation, and retail industries. This includes, but is not limited to: restaurants, fitness centers, personal service providers, entertainment venues, family childcare centers, and retail stores;
  • Be located in Beverly, at an address separate from owner’s residence. Family childcare centers are exempt from this requirement;
  • Have fewer than 50 full time equivalent employees;
  • Be independently owned and operated;
  • Established before January 1, 2020;
  • Be current on all local taxes and licenses;
  • Gross receipts for the year 2020 cannot have exceeded $2 million.
