COVID-19 Business Impact Survey – Phase 3
Small businesses across the Commonwealth have been impacted by COVID-19. The North Shore Region has been particularly impacted because small businesses dominate the entire region. In fact, when it comes to the North Shore businesses, at least 84% rely on fewer than 20 employees and 37% have 4 or less employees. This third and final phase of the COVID-19 Business Impact Survey is needed to continue to provide relevant information to policymakers, businesses, and other decision-makers.
If you own or lead a North Shore business or non-profit, please help our efforts by completing our COVID-19 Business Impact Survey – Phase 3. It takes just a few minutes to help.
The goal of this COVID-19 Business Impact Survey is to help create the framework for a strategic regional economic plan that: identifies the needs of small businesses including the types of resources, support and technical assistance needed, and public policy initiatives to support regional economic competitiveness and the creation of regional priorities.
The North Shore Alliance for Economic Development (Alliance) brings regional leaders from 30 communities together to explore and act on economic development issues that help grow the region, including those that advance the Commonwealth as a whole. We are grateful to partner with the following leaders who have co-sponsored this survey and support and share our mission: Enterprise Center at Salem State University, Destination Salem, Essex National Heritage Area, Greater Cape Ann Chamber of Commerce, Greater Lynn Chamber of Commerce, North Shore Chamber of Commerce, North Shore Convention and Visitors Bureau, Peabody Area Chamber of Commerce, Salem Chamber of Commerce, Salem Main Streets, and The Salem Partnership.
