Commonwealth Corporation, on behalf of the Executive Office of Health and Human Services, is releasing two Requests for Proposals funded by the MassHealth Delivery System Reform Incentive Payment (DSRIP).
The Community Health Worker Supervisor Training Program Grant aims to strengthen the Community Health Worker (CHW) workforce and improve the effectiveness and retention of CHWs in MassHealth Accountable Care Organizations (ACOs) and Community Partners (CPs) by expanding capacity and access to training of supervisors of CHWs. Commonwealth Corporation is seeking applications from programs with expertise in training CHWs to design a new or modify an existing curriculum for training CHW supervisors and then deliver the new/modified curriculum to 60 eligible CHW supervisors between November 1, 2018 and December 31, 2019.
The Community Health Worker Training Capacity Expansion Grant aims to strengthen the CHW workforce and improve the effectiveness and retention of CHWs in MassHealth Accountable Care Organizations (ACOs) and Community Partners (CPs) by expanding capacity and access to core competency training for CHWs. Commonwealth Corporation is seeking applications from programs with expertise in training CHWs to deliver CHW core competency training to eligible CHWs between November 1, 2018 and December 31, 2019 across all regions of the state, including Greater Boston, Southeast MA, Central MA, Northeast MA, and Western MA.
