Amendment Two does not affect any projects supported by the Boston Region Metropolitan Planning Organization’s discretionary funds. The changes to transit funding reflect the recent awarding of MassDOT Community Transit Grant Program funds for federal fiscal year (FFY) 2019. This program awards funds to help meet the transportation and mobility needs of seniors and people with disabilities. The changes to highway funding reflect cost increases for two state-prioritized bridge projects.
