ON WOMEN’S ISSUES
The Massachusetts Commission on the Status of Women &
The Essex County Commission on the Status of Women
want to hear from you!
Community leaders and residents are invited to testify.
Please attend and let us know about issues that are important to you, your children, your family and your community.

Oral and written testimony will be accepted. Open to the public.

The Commission is responsible for studying, reviewing and
reporting on the status of women in the Commonwealth and is charged with advising
executive and legislative bodies on the effect of proposed legislation on women.
To that end, the Commission conducts regional public hearings across the state
to collect testimony and opinions on women’s issues and concerns.
