Salem Announces Rescue Plan Survey, Public Forums
Public feedback sought to help shape use of federal COVID-19 relief funds.
The City of Salem has launched a survey, available online in English and Spanish at www.salem.com/rescue, to help gather public input about the City’s use of the federal COVID-19 relief funds provided to it by the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA). The survey will be online through Friday, September 17th.
In addition to the survey, residents, employers, and workers in the community are invited to participate in two public forums intended to take in additional public feedback about the City’s ARPA allocation. One forum will take place on September 28th at 7:00 p.m. and the second on October 21st at 7:00 p.m. Both will be held online via Zoom; links and dial-in details will be posted at www.salem.com/rescue the week prior to each forum.
