City of Salem Announces Festival and Special Event Support Program
Grant program assists Salem festivals and special events adversely affected by Covid-19
Mayor Kim Driscoll and the City of Salem are pleased to announce the creation of the Festival and Special Event Support Program, a grant program designed to support festivals and special events taking place in the spring and summer of 2022. The program is being announced as part of National Travel and Tourism Week, which runs from May 1st until May 7th.
The program will provide financial support for organizations and entities that organize and hold festivals and special events in the City through September 15, 2022. Eligibility will be determined on a case-by-case basis and is open to non-profits, community groups, and other entities and will support cultural, creative, and historic focused programming as well as farmer’s markets, awareness programs, and more.
