Wayne Castonguay, Executive Director of The Ipswich River Watershed Association, will present on this year’s historic drought which has highlighted the inadequacies of our current water management system on the North Shore and statewide. The presentation will focus on the 14 cities and towns that depend on the river for their drinking water and the impact of these withdrawals on the river and the sustainability of our local water system in light of climate change. The Ipswich River Watershed Association is a group of people who care about the Ipswich River and who strive to protect and restore the river for people and nature.
